Raiffeisen Bank Hungary is a fifth largest bank in Hungary with a 7% market share by assets. The Bank offers a typical range of banking services and products for retail as well as corporate segment, but provides also investment banking and treasury services, asset management, private banking, or leasing, for example. Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. was established as Unicbank Rt. in December 1986. Now, the Bank is effectively a 100% subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI), which is one of the biggest players in the emerging Europe. The bank now operates in 17 different countries, employes about 60,000 people and services approximatelly 14.4 million customers through more than 3,100 branches.
