Vietnamese banking sector accepted customer deposits of VND 6,810,038 bil in 2017, up 14.6% when compared to the last year.
Techcombank accounted for 2.67% of all customer deposits taken by banks in Vietnam at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in customer deposits reached an all time high of 4.42% in 2009 and an all time low of 1.29% in 2003.
That's compared to a 2.79% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
