What Banks in Vietnam Had the Most Employees in 2019?

Based on a comparison of 14 banks in Vietnam in 2019, Vietnam Prosperity Bank had the most employees, followed by BIDV and VietinBank.

Vietnam Prosperity Bank employed 27,082 persons in 2019, down 1.27% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 27,429 persons in 2018 and an all time low of 3,548 in 2011.

Average cost reached VND 22,546,500 per month per month per employee, 23.3% more than a year ago.

Comparing Vietnam Prosperity Bank with its closest peers, BIDV had 25,835 employees with average cost of VND 31,394,000 per month per person, VietinBank operated with 24,105 people (and VND 32,833,900 per month per employee) and Sacombank had 19,237 employees in 2019 with cost VND 19,237 per month per head.
