Tatra banka - Revenue & Profitability

Tatra banka made a net profit of EUR 124 mil under revenues of EUR 425 mil in 2017, up -1.30% and -4.85% respectively compared to the previous year.

Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 139 mil in 2011 and an all time low of EUR 23.8 mil in 1997. The average profit in the last five years amounted to EUR 117 mil.

On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of EUR 457 mil in 2014 and an all time low of EUR 74.7 mil in 1997. The average revenues in the last five years reached EUR 443 mil.

Comparing Tatra banka with its closest peers, VUB Banka generated a net profit of EUR 175 mil with revenues of EUR 547 mil in 2017, Slovenska Sporitelna netted EUR 164 mil (revenues of EUR 569 mil) and Prima Banka Slovakia announced a net profit of EUR 14.9 mil (revenues of EUR 75.0 mil).
