Average asset yield was 2.44% in 2017, down from 2.69% when compared to previous year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 0.176% in 2017, down from 0.283%.
Comparing Tatra banka with its closest peers, VUB Banka operated in 2017 with a net interest margin of 2.65% in 2017, Slovenska Sporitelna reached 2.82% and Prima Banka Slovakia some 1.98%.
