OTP Banka Slovakia's capital adequacy ratio reached 15.0% at the end of 2017, up from 12.9% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 15.0% in 2017 and an all time low of 10.6% in 2013.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.3% at the end of 2017, up from 10.9% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 103% at the end of 2017, up from 97.0% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing OTP Banka Slovakia with its closest peers, VUB Banka ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 18.2% and loans to deposits of 121%, Slovenska Sporitelna with 18.7% and 93.9% respectively and Tatra banka some 18.7% in terms of capital adequacy and 93.0% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.
