Provision coverage amounted to 76.7% at the end of 2017, up from 69.5% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of -0.422% of average loans in 2017. That's compared to 3.41% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
Comparing Nova Ljubljanska banka with its closest peers, UniCredit Bank Slovenia operated at the end of 2017 with NPL ratio of 23.1% and provision coverage of 15.4%, NKBM Group with 12.0% and 117% respectively and SKB Banka had 6.44% of bad loans covered with 82.9% by provisions at the end of 2017.
