Non-Performing Loans (Local Currency) in Sri Lanka

Non-performing loans reached SKR 448 bil in 2020 in Sri Lanka, according to the National Central Bank. This is 17.4% more than in the previous year.

Historically, non-performing loans in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of SKR 448 bil in 2020 and an all time low of SKR 99.3 bil in 2011.

Sri Lanka has been ranked 21st within the group of 70 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans.
