Non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 37.7% in 2020 in Sri Lanka, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.42% more than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 41.2% in 2013 and an all time low of 20.5% in 2017.
