Non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 38.4% in second quarter of 2021 in Sri Lanka, according to the National Central Bank. This is 9.08% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 41.8% in 1Q2014 and an all time low of 18.5% in 4Q2017.
