Wüstenrot Stavebná Sporitel'ňa (WSS) is a Slovakia-based building savings bank. The Bank provides various financial products and services to retail and legal clients. It primarily offers construction loans, interim loans, and loans for housing reconstruction. Wustenrot Stavebna Sporitelna originally operated under the name of VUB Wustenrot. In December 2003, VUB sold its fifty percent stake in the home savings bank to the Wustenrot Group. Austrian Wustenrot Verwaltungs-und Dienstleistungen GmbH thus increased its control in the bank from 30 to 60%, and the German Wustenrot & Wurttembergische AG share rose from 20 to 40%
