Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2020, Turkey ranked the highest in diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold with 65.9% followed by Estonia and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Netherlands with 3.62%, Norway with 8.60% and Finland with 13.3%.
