Based on a comparison of 37 countries in 2021, Egypt ranked the highest in production of dates with 1,747,715 tonnes followed by Saudi Arabia and Iran. On the other end of the scale was Colombia with 55.0 tonnes, Djibouti with 130 tonnes and Swaziland with 310 tonnes.
