Based on a comparison of 10 banks in Romania in 2016, Banca Commerciala Romana generated the largest fee income, followed by Raiffeisen Bank Romania and Banca Transilvania.
Banca Commerciala Romana reported total fee income of RON 709 mil, down 2.24% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s fee income reached an all time high of RON 915 mil in 2008 and an all time low of RON 302 mil in 2000.
Comparing Banca Commerciala Romana with its closest peers, Raiffeisen Bank Romania generated total fee income of RON 621 mil, Banca Transilvania operated with RON 546 mil fee income and UniCredit Tiriac Bank produced total fees worth RON 331 mil.
