Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of GBP 28,481 mil in 2010 and an all time low of GBP 890 mil in 1988. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to GBP 14,119 mil.
Net interest income represented 60.7% of total revenues, fee income contributed 16.5% and other non-interest income added further 22.9% to the overall revenue generation in 2018.
