Royal Bank of Scotland Group's capital adequacy ratio reached 20.5% at the end of third quarter of 2019, down from 20.9% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 24.7% in 3Q2018 and an all time low of 11.4% in 1Q2014.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.9% at the end of third quarter of 2019, down from 20.6% compared to the same period of last year and down from 18.2% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 86.4% at the end of 3Q2019, down from 87.3% when compared to the same period of last year.
