Piraeus Bank Romania's capital adequacy ratio reached 21.8% at the end of 2017, up from 19.6% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 21.8% in 2017 and an all time low of 12.1% in 2008.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 16.8% at the end of 2017, up from 14.9% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 79.4% at the end of 2017, up from 72.4% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 206%.
