Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 10.1% in 1Q2017 and an all time low of 9.16% in 1Q2019. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 9.35%.
Average asset yield was 10.3% in 1Q2019, down from 10.6% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 1.41% in 1Q2019, down from 1.49%.
