KBC Group generated total banking revenues of EUR 2,240 mil in the fourth quarter of 2019, up 11.3% when compared to the same period of last year and 11.4% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 2,464 mil in 1Q2011 and an all time low of EUR 1,384 mil in 3Q2011. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to EUR 2,077 mil.
Net interest income represented 53.6% of total revenues, fee income contributed 19.9% and other non-interest income added further 26.6% to the overall revenue generation in 4Q2019.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 3.08% total assets in the fourth quarter of 2019, up from 2.84% a year earlier.
