Globus Česká republika is a Czech Republic-based subsidiary of Germany's Globus Hypermarket Holding. Globus is also a brand of the retail chain of hypermarkets, Do-It-Yourselve (DIY) stores and electronics stores the Company operates.
Since 2000, the Company's sales have more than doubled in the Czech Republic, to nearly CZK 23 bil in 2012. On the other hand, profitability remains low with a net margin of below 1% on average in the last three years
