Citigroup's capital adequacy ratio reached 16.2% at the end of 2018, down from 16.3% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.3% in 2012 and an all time low of 10.7% in 2007.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.5% at the end of 2018, down from 14.1% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 66.3% at the end of 2018, down from 68.2% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 85.8%.
