Bank of the Philippine Islands's capital adequacy ratio reached 16.1% at the end of 2018, up from 12.7% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 16.1% in 2018 and an all time low of 12.7% in 2017.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.2% at the end of 2018, up from 11.8% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 84.9% at the end of 2018, up from 76.6% when compared to the previous year.
