On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 1.20% at the end of 2018, up from -0.053% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 26.9% in 2006 and an all time low of -7.34% in 2005. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 10.4%.
At the end of 2018, Bank of Maharashtra's loans accounted for 58.8% of total deposits and 50.2% of total assets.
