Privatbanka is a Slovakia-based bank. The Bank provides a range of banking and financial services to commercial, financial, and private customers principally in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. Privatbanka was the first bank in Slovakia to specialise in the providing of private banking services. The services now include wealth and portfolio services; and individual products, such as above-limit term deposits, various bonds, independent products, and foreign exchange transaction services, as well as banking advisory and personal financial services. Privatbanka was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Bratislava, Slovakia. In the middle of 2007, the Bank was acquired by the Penta Group.
