Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski (PKO BP) is Poland's largest bank. It provides services to individual and business clients. The core business activity of PKO Bank Polski is retail banking and the full name Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności roughly means "General Savings Bank". The bank employes more than 25,000 people and services more than 6 million clients through a network of 1,200 branches. In 2012, the bank reached a net profit of USD 1,152 million and its assets exceeded USD 62 billion. Apart from being the largest bank in Poland, PKO BP is also present outside Poland, notably in Ukraine after the acquisition of KredoBank (Кредобанк).
