Metalimex, a. s. is a Czech-based company involved in trading and processing of non-ferrous metals and non-ferrous semi-products. The principal trading activities of the Company are trade in aluminum sheets, copper, steel, iron ore, coal as well as other commodities within Central Europe. The Metalimex Group also includes three production companies - AL INVEST Břidličná, Coal Mill, and Měď Povrly - whose production is a significant part of the product and service portfolio of Metalimex and Sardona Finance. At the end of 2013, Metalimex completed a purchase of a coking plant OKK Koksovny from NWR for EUR 95 million. Metalimex is fully owned by MTX CZ.
