By the end of 2002, Deutsche Post has gained 100% in the international courier and express business. In April 2013 Deutsche Post announced that the German government's refinancing agency KfW Bank had given up its blocking minority, cutting its stake to 24.9%. The Company operates four main business divisions: Mail; Express; Global Forwarding, Freight, and Supply Chain.
