Greasy wool production reached 191,512 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 0.287% less than in the previous year.
Historically, greasy wool production in the European Union reached an all time high of 292,810 tonnes in 1989 and an all time low of 180,970 tonnes in 2001.
