Virgin Olive Oil Production in European Union

Virgin olive oil production reached 2,542,374 tonnes in 2014 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 29.3% more than in the previous year.

Historically, virgin olive oil production in the European Union reached an all time high of 2,575,196 tonnes in 2012 and an all time low of 590,213 tonnes in 1964.
