Total vegetable oil consumption reached 5,708 kt in 2013 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 3.22% less than in the previous year.
Historically, total vegetable oil consumption in the European Union reached an all time high of 6,539 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 1,807 kt in 1991.
