Uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 12.8% in 2023 in Vietnam, according to the National Central Bank. This is 54.1% more than in the previous year.
Historically, uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Vietnam reached an all time high of 20.0% in 2012 and an all time low of 4.28% in 2021.
