Uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 21.2% in second quarter of 2024 in Ghana, according to the National Central Bank. This is 13.8% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Ghana reached an all time high of 29.1% in 2Q2016 and an all time low of 5.10% in 1Q2021.
