Uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 47.4% in fourth quarter of 2023 in Bangladesh, according to the National Central Bank. This is 10.4% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Bangladesh reached an all time high of 63.7% in 1Q2019 and an all time low of 34.5% in 4Q2020.
