Based on a comparison of 25 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in total domestic uses of wine with 39,339 1,000 hl followed by Italy and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 78.4 1,000 hl, Cyprus with 154 1,000 hl and Latvia with 160 1,000 hl.
