Based on a comparison of 22 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in total domestic uses of white wine with 18,420 1,000 hl followed by Italy and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 29.4 1,000 hl, Cyprus with 75.2 1,000 hl and Latvia with 76.7 1,000 hl.
