Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2016, Italy ranked the highest in total domestic uses of other wine with 9,749 1,000 hl followed by France and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Malta with 13.9 1,000 hl, Luxembourg with 32.0 1,000 hl and Latvia with 57.3 1,000 hl.
