Unmanufactured tobacco production reached 61,636 tonnes in 2022 in Tanzania, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 5.35% more than in the previous year.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Tanzania reached an all time high of 130,000 tonnes in 2011 and an all time low of 1,770 tonnes in 1962.
