Unmanufactured tobacco production reached 103,806 tonnes in 2022 in Malawi, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 5.18% more than in the previous year.
Historically, unmanufactured tobacco production in Malawi reached an all time high of 208,155 tonnes in 2009 and an all time low of 12,202 tonnes in 1961.
