Based on a comparison of 8 countries in 2015, Poland ranked the highest in subsidies on sugar beet at purchasing power parity with EUR 144 mil followed by Croatia and Switzerland. On the other end of the scale was Portugal with EUR 0.650 mil, Lithuania with EUR 2.59 mil and Finland with EUR 4.25 mil.
