Based on a comparison of 9 countries in 2016, Poland ranked the highest in subsidies on sugar beet with EUR 80.8 mil followed by Switzerland and Croatia. On the other end of the scale was Portugal with EUR 0.180 mil, Lithuania with EUR 2.20 mil and Finland with EUR 4.83 mil.
