Based on a comparison of 17 countries in 2016, Spain ranked the highest in subsidies on sheep and goats with EUR 168 mil followed by France and Norway. On the other end of the scale was Lithuania with EUR 0.160 mil, Sweden with EUR 0.270 mil and Estonia with EUR 0.390 mil.
