Based on a comparison of 12 countries in 2016, Hungary ranked the highest in subsidies on fresh fruit with EUR 25.0 mil followed by Bulgaria and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Malta with EUR 0.040 mil, Estonia with EUR 0.600 mil and Latvia with EUR 0.800 mil.
