Based on a comparison of 18 countries in 2016, Norway ranked the highest in subsidies on animal products with USD 408 mil followed by Finland and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Malta with USD 0.011 mil, Bulgaria with USD 2.22 mil and Poland with USD 2.83 mil.
