Based on a comparison of 20 countries in 2022, France ranked the highest in smokers as a percentage of 15+ year-old female population with 23.0% followed by Luxembourg and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Costa Rica with 3.80%, Mexico with 4.40% and South Korea with 4.50%.
