Based on a comparison of 15 countries in 2011, Romania ranked the highest in Share of Population reading Newspapers in the last 12 months by Education - Less than once a month - Pre-primary, primary and lower secondary education (levels 0-2) with 16.7% followed by Cyprus and Slovakia. On the other end of the scale was Spain with 4.60%, Czechia with 5.20% and United Kingdom with 5.50%.
