Based on a comparison of 19 countries in 2011, Romania ranked the highest in Share of Population reading Newspapers in the last 12 months by Age - From 45 to 64 years - Less than once a month with 10.4% followed by Cyprus and Portugal. On the other end of the scale was Germany with 0.600%, Austria with 0.900% and Slovenia with 1.20%.
