Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2011, Romania ranked the highest in Share of Population reading Newspapers in the last 12 months by Age - From 35 to 44 years - At least once a month with 12.3% followed by Cyprus and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Austria with 2.70%, Germany with 3.20% and Luxembourg with 3.30%.
