Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2016, Bulgaria ranked the highest in Share of Population in Towns and Suburbs which reported the occurrence of crime, violence or vandalism in their area (Below 60% of median equivalised income) with 27.6% followed by Romania and Hungary. On the other end of the scale was Croatia with 3.50%, Austria with 4.30% and Norway with 6.30%.
