Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2016, Cyprus ranked the highest in Share of Population in Towns and Suburbs which reported the occurrence of crime, violence or vandalism in their area (Above 60% of median equivalised income) with 19.3% followed by Bulgaria and Luxembourg. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 1.40%, Croatia with 2.20% and Malta with 2.40%.
