Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2016, Bulgaria ranked the highest in Share of Households with Severe Housing Deprivation Rate (Tenant, rent at reduced price or free) with 42.2% followed by Macedonia and Romania. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with 3.30%, Austria with 3.50% and Norway with 5.50%.
